Blooming Under the Moonlight 🌔

Good evening, friends, if anyone is even reading this little blog anymore? 🤔 Even if not, there's no reason not to write. Someday, eventually a blogger will stumble across this post and resonate with my writing and we'll follow each other and become friends. That is what I believe! Though, of course, friends who I haven't spoken to in a long time might still be blogging themselves and will reach out and say hello and I will be so glad to catch up with them!

Plus, of course, just writing to write and keep my special little space here is good, too. 😁

I've been really struggling this year. From my lumbar degenerative disc disease (which sounds scary but isn't actually a "disease") to my mental health... It's all just been bad.

I've actually been suffering with my worst bout of deep depression since 2015. Thankfully, nothing is bad, as in nothing bad is happening in my life. In fact, outside of some money issues, everything is going wonderfully and I am so happy but yet that thick depressive smog just covers me.

I keep trying to pull myself together. I'm taking my medication, of course, though if it's working or not, I am not sure... I spend all day with my loves and they help me so so much, plus of course, all of our babies. My job is supportive and my Doctor is great. I even have therapy now! Astrid bought this large bundle of random incense and one of them is jasmine scented. It's such an uplifting, positive and magickal scent and it's been helping me a lot.

I have recently started time blocking my day (though I have only done this once... I will start this fresh upcoming week by doing so more) and I have also been embracing magick again. It's been SO long since I've embraced my Witchiness.

I was on Etsy, looking up unique perfume oil that had a mossy scent (which I know is very specific) and I kept coming across the most magickal scents that made me feel that pull of magick and nature, of ancient rituals and special meanings. The perfume oil I ended up getting is actually based on Countess Bathory, which is much more gothic than Pagan, but the scent is SO me!

Scent notes:
Blood Orange, Sangria, Bulgarian Rose, Red Currant, Red Musk, and Amber

I cannot wait to breath in this rich, royal scent.

But yes! So this awakened my hibernating Witchiness. Later on, I went on Amazon and there was a new book that was releasing soon called "Art Magick: How to become an art witch and unlock your creative power" and I ordered that INSTANTLY! There's only 11 left in stock, so if you want your own, be sure to grab one fast! (I'm not getting a commission or anything, it's just that so far, it's wonderful and inspiring and full of positive vibes!)

Right now I have on the Witchy Coffee Shop Ambience YouTube video while I have a cup of Tazo Zen tea by my side. I read my tarot for the day, which is Knight of Wands (Reversed), which is telling me that I am shunning my true self and that I need to be my authentic self, acknowledge and move past this fogginess and lack of energy and maybe even try something new! Oh, and definitely to embrace creativity!

While I was making my Zen tea, I also grabbed a picture of Banjo to share with everyone. He's such a sweet and beautiful doggy!

Now, I am going to continue relaxing, drinking my tea, cuddling with Koji and Astrid and loving them, loving our babies, read cozy social media posts, do a little gaming, do a little journaling and just have a peaceful night as the rain gently falls.
